The Australian Consulate, the Embassy and IDP Education Australia organized a mega festival Australia Festival 2002-Green Festival hold in September with the objective to promote Australia's culture, education, gourmet, sports, tourism, fashion, environmental business and consular being every aspect that makes Australia an attractive destination to study, travel or make business.
The Australia Festival 2002 was held in São Paulo, 9 & 10 September at the Grand Hyatt São Paulo Hotel (Av. das Nações Unidas, 13.301), from 13 till 21 hrs; 11 September in Campinas at Senac (Rua Sacramento, 490); and 12 & 13 September in Curitiba at Sheraton Four Points Hotel (Av. Sete de Setembro, 4.211). In Campinas and Curitiba the festival was from 13 till 19 hrs.
